The Sewing Department is one of the key areas where our rich experience is fully showcased. While one might think that the quality of sewing is solely dependent on machines, our skilled seamsters play a significant role. Their many years of experience guarantee a top-quality product.

Our city and country have a rich tradition in sewing, with large sewing workshops and schools that train excellent seamsters. We place significant focus on resources for improvement and keeping up with innovations in the sewing process. When we recognize innovations in the global market or receive specific requests from our customers, we quickly implement them.

One such example is a specialized machine from EU market for sewing circles and cross-stitches. It is important to highlight that all our sewing machines are new, from leading global manufacturers like Dürkopp Adler AG, with a total of over 100 machines in our arsenal.

Process in the Sewing Department

The process in the sewing department takes place in several steps to achieve optimal productivity and traceability of work orders – items through the production chain. Within the sewing department, we have a preparation sub-department where we receive cut covers and all components necessary for their sewing. Once all components are ready, the covers are issued for production, and the sewing process begins. Additionally, the sewing department includes a quality sub-department, where the sewn covers are thoroughly inspected to ensure a high standard of finished products.

Sewing Department Preparation

In this phase, we collect the cut parts on trolleys from the leather and fabric cutting departments. After that, we prepare all other raw materials needed for the further sewing process and organize them together with the cut parts. Once all components are prepared, we issue them to the sewing department so that the sewing process can begin.

This detailed organizational process ensures an efficient transition between cutting and sewing, contributing to productivity and accuracy in the production chain. The focus of the seamsters is on the quality of the sewing process itself.

Sewing Process

Once all the necessary components for our covers are prepared, the sewing process begins. The items are carefully distributed across operations in predetermined sewing stations. This systematic approach allows for efficiency and organization in the sewing process, ensuring that every component is handled with care and precision.

Quality Control

After completing the sewing process, the quality department takes over the sewn covers for detailed inspection. Each cover is carefully examined to ensure high quality and precision.

Once the covers pass the inspection, they are collected on special trolleys and prepared for the next process, ensuring that every product leaving our production line meets quality standards.

A detailed control process monitors every segment of sewing to guarantee the quality of every finished product that leaves the sewing department.

The sewing department allows us to customize chair designs according to the specific requirements of our clients. Specialized Equipment

The sewing department is equipped with over 100 sewing machines from Dürkopp Adler AG, including several specialized machines to meet the specific requirements of our customers. Notably, we have a machine from Styrteknik Europe AB, specialized for sewing circles and cross-stitches on materials up to 17 cm thick.

Efficient Production

Even though each piece of fabric or leather is carefully processed, the sewing department ensures fast production thanks to efficient processes and experienced skilled staff. This allows us to achieve quick delivery, which is a key factor in modern manufacturing.
