Discover the Chair Production Process at Export City
The first phase in chair production
Chair Development Department
The chair development department is responsible for predicting the appearance and characteristics of chairs before the actual production process, thereby saving time and resources throughout the entire process.
Experts in the development department use state-of-the-art technologies and materials to create visual representations of future chairs, taking into account functionality, aesthetics, and ergonomics.
Fabric Cutting Department
The fabric cutting department represents one of the initial steps in the production process, where material cutting is performed based on precise templates from the development department and cutting instructions. Thanks to a combination of extensive experience, trained personnel, and the latest CNC machines, we achieve the highest level of precision and efficiency in the cutting process.
The fabric cutting department averages about 30,000 meters of material cut per month.
Leather Cutting Department
The leather cutting department is a key part of the production process, where precision and control directly influence the final appearance of the chair.
Leather processing itself is carried out on modern CNC cutters from the renowned manufacturer Gerber Technology. Thanks to the training of our workers and the use of the latest machines, we achieve maximum leather utilization and guarantee superior quality in every piece.
Foam Processing Department
Sponge processing is an indispensable step in our production chain, where each piece of sponge is cut according to defined drawings, which must be perfectly precise, because the appearance of the finished product depends on the sponge itself. The department is equipped with modern CNC machines manufactured by Fecken-Kirfel GmbH & Co. KG.
We also have several specialized machines that allow us to achieve any desired sponge shape, from milling, beveling, to 3D shapes.
Wood Processing Department
The wood processing department is equipped with woodworking machines used for production or preparation processes, where we process particleboard, plywood, MDF, and other materials that are further utilized in wood processing.
Through precise processing techniques, we transform raw materials into high-quality components that are subsequently used in the manufacturing of our products.
Polyurethane Parts Molding Department
The polyurethane molding department is a relatively new project within our production. Equipped with 10 injection molds mounted on a carousel, it enables efficient and precise production of polyurethane parts. Additionally, we use a Cell Crusher from the renowned manufacturer Orodjarna & Inženiring Alba d.o.o., which further enhances our production process.
The second phase in chair production
Sewing Department
The Sewing Department is equipped with 100 sewing machines from the manufacturer Durkopp Adler AG, several of which are specialized to meet the unique requirements of our customers. Additionally, we feature a machine from the manufacturer Styrteknik Europe AB, specialized in circular sewing systems and cross-stitching over materials up to 17 cm thick.
Chair Gluing Department
In the gluing department, chair parts from the raw material warehouse and cut foam from the foam processing department come together. Using special adhesives that have proven to be highly effective in our industry, we ensure that our products are stable and durable.
The adhesives we use are manufactured in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards in the EU.
The final phase in chair production
Upholstery Department
The upholstery department employs 60 upholsterers with years of experience who ensure that each product is distinguished by its quality and appearance, which is essential for achieving the company’s goals. In this department, a special process of gluing and heating the upholstered parts of chairs in thermal ovens takes place, ensuring that materials like leather or fabric adhere to the foam.
Final Products Warehouse
The warehouse covers an area of 3,000 square meters. Goods are stored on racks to avoid any possibility of damage and to facilitate easier handling.
