Our Approach to Gluing for Stability and Durability

Within our company, we have a Gluing Department where chair parts from the raw materials warehouse and cut foam from the foam processing department meet. Using special adhesives that have proven to be exceptionally effective in our industry, we ensure that our products are stable and durable.

The adhesives we use are manufactured in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards in the EU. Through the gluing process, our items gradually take on their final appearance.

Process in the Gluing Department

The gluing process consists of several steps, starting with the retrieval of cut foam parts and other components from the main warehouse. Then, adhesive is applied to these parts to ensure complete firmness and durability.

Surface Preparation and Adhesive Selection

Before the actual gluing, the surfaces to be joined must be carefully prepared. This includes cleaning and removing impurities from the surfaces to ensure that the adhesive has optimal contact and adhesion. Selecting the optimal adhesive is crucial for the successful bonding of foam parts and other components. Different materials require different types of adhesives, so it is important to choose an adhesive that will ensure durability and strength.

Adhesive Spraying and Joining Parts

After preparing the foam and components, adhesive is applied to one or both surfaces to be joined. Once the adhesive is applied, the parts are carefully aligned and pressed together to ensure a strong bond. In some cases, applying a certain amount of pressure is necessary to ensure a firm connection while the adhesive dries. All adhesives are of EU origin and meet the highest industry standards.

Drying and Quality Control

Once the parts are joined, the adhesive is left to dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After it is fully dried, a quality control inspection is performed to ensure that the parts are properly bonded and free of defects or weak points. After the final inspection, the bonded parts are placed in special boxes and transported to the upholstery department.
